My name is Matt v.d. Westhuizen - I am a qualified software engineer, mostly developing web applications in my current job. My hobby about which I am most passionate is games of all sorts, from board-games to computer games to roleplaying games!

My dream is to create some of my own games - it's not a dream I've been very successful in pursuing. A lecturer once asked me a question approximately like this one: "What do you enjoy more: playing games or making games?". It was a very wise question that very accurately identified the cause of my past failures... I don't think I can stop enjoying the playing, but I'm not going to give up on the making - I'm just adjusting my expectations of how long it'g going to take to finish something.

So keep an eye on this site... it probably won't update very often, but when it does, I hope you'll be thrilled by the results.
